When we first had the Lelli Kelly Shoes delivered in 2008 there was a style in the collection called School Dolly Cross which was the first of the zig-zag straps shoes. The company have always been innovative when it came to creating fresh designs by playing with the strap arrangements and the Dolly Cross Shoe was no exception. The bar actually started on the outside of the shoe just above the throat and then zig-zagged across the instep of the shoe securing the foot in place when the Velcro tab was closed back on the outside. The shoe was made from black calf leather and had a lovely pink leather lining and sock.
Well the newest version of the shoes is the all new School Cross Stars shoes for 2011 - the shoe has been updated but still retains the zigzag Velcro bar which proved so successful from the previous seasons. This year the shoe comes in a broader fitting, they call this a continental fitting and means that the last is slightly wider and deeper than the standard UK fit lelli Kelly Shoes. (see photo below)
This year's shoe comes in black patent leather with small suede star appliqués
on the vamp. These are stitched on to create a star pattern across the front
of the shoe. Once again the shoe comes with a full leather lining in pink
with a cushioned leather comfort sock. This lovely pair of shoes comes in
a fully branded Lelli Kelly box with a free toy inside which this year is
the doggy compact! What's that you ask? well its a small doggie suspended
in a glitter ball type arrangement covering a compact which opens to reveal
some Lelli Kelly make-up.
These Lelli Kelly Shoes comes in sizes 25 to 35 which roughly equates to a 7 to 2½ and comes with free UK delivery which normally takes about 2 days, sometimes its quicker but if you live in the highlands and Islands it could take a little longer. It is also available on 24 hour delivery if you place your order before 2pm.
