Coming bang up to date with the story of Lelli Kelly's School shoes collections we have a the Jennifer School Dolly from 2011. This was an update of the best selling shoe from the perviosu season, the School Dolly Strap. This shoe came with a small pink chiffon bag with two extra pairs of straps inside. The ones on the shoe were secured by two velcro loops on the inside and on the outside that could be undone to accomodate the different straps. The ones on the shoe were embellished with sequins and beads in a glittery flower formation while the other two had one plain black embroidered and the other one with a small bow.
Jennifer is a compete update of that particular shoe and similarly comes with the small chiffon bag. The difference this year is in the quality of the flowers on the embellished bar which have been completely updated so that nothing can fall off. There were one or two complaints the previous year with some of the bead falling off in heavy wear, something that one would expect if the shoes were kicked around. But this year Lelli kelly have improved the situation with the addition of extra stitching to make double sure that these are secure.
This shoe comes in both black plain leather and black patent
leather - both high quality nappa leathers made from calf. The lining are
also made of leather which is great for kids' feet and there is a cusion
sock, all to aid comfort and to help wick away moisture when the shoes are
worn all day. The shoe comes in sizes 10-2½ or 28 to 35 in the continental
size conversion which would equate to an age 4 year old to about an age
8 or nine if the childs feet are a little smaller than normal.
As with all Lelli Kelly Shoes the Jennifer School Dolly comes in a fully branded box with a free toy inside. In 2011 the toy is a small plastic compact with make up inside. On the front of the compact is a glitter ball cover with a small plastic dog inside! The adverts running during late July and August of 2011 feature this shoe with the little girl holding up the plain strap version as it suddenly explodes in to the silver flower strap.
