For over forty years Rockport has been the number one footwear industry innovator. They were the first company to use specially developed and advanced material technology in the make up of their footwear; putting together cool, light weight materials to produce elegantly fashioned and classic footwear for the modern man and woman.

Rockport's Shoes equate design with amazing comfort and cutting edge performance to give a total fashion edge. The company develops, designs and produces specially engineered comfort shoes for men and women, including tan brogues like the Wing Tip, chunky boots like the brown Chukka and the classic brown Lux Lodge waterproof boot; all of which have become iconic brand styles and feature the adiPRENE shock absorbing technology.

Their Dress Shoes offer a wide selection of formal footwear; with tan brogues, toe cap shoes and plain fronted styles perfect for the office, special events or a smart casual weekend. These shoes are as comfortable as they are smart, with Adidas's patented Adiprene technology giving them the same level of comfort as a quality pair of trainers. Their Casual Shoes offer a fabulous collection of leisure shoes made from superb leather and lightweight moulded P.U. soles. You can lounge around in these styles all day and forget you have them on.

In 1990 the Vice President of the company, Tony Post, ran the New York marathon wearing a pair of DresSport shoes to prove the shoe's amazing support and shock absorption. In 1993, a team of climbers wore a pair of the, now iconic, performance boots Unbwe Trail when scaling Mount Kilimanjaro, Africa's highest peak at 19,341 feet. In 1994, the company's advanced nautical footwear was worn in the Whitbread round the world Yacht Race and the Volvo Ocean Race - proving its pedigree in world class performance sports gear. In 2009, eight runners compete in the New York Marathon wearing the newly updated DresSport shoes.
