Shoes.co.uk is a real Shoe Shop! - with probably the best domain name you could find for an site on the internet selling shoes. We are not an affiliate site, a price comparison site or a discounter - we sell shoes from our UK operation based in South manchester.

The company was set up in 2006 by two shoe trade professionals; Nigel Carr and Jackie Hodge. Nigel was the Buying Controller for Barratts Shoes working for the company for nearly 10 years in the late 80s and early 90's, you can follow Nigel's posts on Twitter here: ShoesUK

Jackie was the Women's footwear buyer for Littlewoods catalogue for over 12 years and then Buying Director for Schuh followed by a stint at N Brown, the catalogue company and owner of Simply B and Vivaladiva. 
We have set up Shoes.co.uk to provide a great selection of products sourced from companies we consider to be the best footwear fashion brands operating in the UK today. Our website is fully transactional. You are buying from Shoes.co.uk Ltd who purchase the shoes and stock most of them in a fully operational pick and pack warehouse on the outskirts of Manchester. In some cases with certain new brands the order will be fulfilled by the brand owner.

Shoes.co.uk will only sell products that meet our strict quality control levels. We offer a quick route from selection to purchase of the product by intergrating with HSBC's API system within our website. The site is totally secure and is covered and certified by Thawte, the first name in secure encryption, this is proven by the use of the Thawte logo on our home page and the small 'padlock' logo at the bottom of your browser frame during the payment process.

Shoes.co.uk only sells branded products bought from officially licenced companies. This is to ensure that only first rate items from legitimate sources are sold on our website. We are fully licenced to incorporate the appropriate branded logos within our website which is your seal of our suppliers quality and consistency. We do not sell 'seconds' or substandard items and if for any reason we did offer cheaper products or 'end of lines' we would always specify the reason why.

Credit and debit cards are processed by HSBC on of the world's largest banks so you can be assured that the information you provide is secure - The transaction is completed off site which means that we do not keep your card details anywhere on our website or stored anywhere at our head office - this is why we try to encourage you to pay through the website.
