About Fred Perry Shoes:
Iconic apparel clothing brand Fred Perry is named after the world famous tennis player and originally they made just tennis footwear named after theWimblidon champion. The shoe range now consists mostly of canvas shoes featuring the famous Fred Perry laurel leaf logo.
It was in 1940 that Perry himself was introduced to the idea of putting his name on a sweatband and selling it, since then the brand has developed its global presence through the decades - the 60s mods were particularly fond of their Fred Perry shirts and through to the 90s with Brit Pop and the current resurgence of Bands like Blur - Damon Albarn appeared at Glastonbury wearing the iconic Fred Perry Polo stle top.
Fred Perry shoes were launched to complement the cloting ranges and feature the laurel logo on the side. Shoes.co.uk has a small selection of Fred Perry shoes but aims to revisit the brand in the future.
