Base London Shoes was set up in 1995 to fill the gap between the fashion multiples such as Dolcis and Ravel and the higher priced men's brands such as Patrick Cox's Wannabees, to offer a straight talking no nonsense collection for the average bloke. The fan on the terraces, the lads down the pub.
The brand was an instant success and after all those years has established itself it the psyche of the modern young man.
Their current websie is full of flash and has gone a bit arty but there is no mistaking the down-to-earth styling of the current range of shoes on offer, from trademark, classic tramline loafers, to the up to date brogue lace ups.
